Ana Marshania, journalist at news portal Interpressnews.ge violated 3rd principle

The material in question, asserted, referencing to research by IPR & Analytical Center, that Radio Palitra had the most popular radio news program in Tbilisi. The applicant, Broadcasting company Hereti believed that no such company existed. After researching the case, it became clear that the Radio Palitra itself carried out the study. Therefore, The Council concluded that the information violated the third principle of the Charter. Important information was withheld and was not provided to the audience. The applicant and the journalist, Ana Marshania provided the Charter with additional information over the phone.
