Kristine Karchkhadze violated Charter's first principle
25.12.2018

The material was aired with the headline: “There is no plumbing system in Tskaltubo”. The applicant thought that Obieqtivi shared unverified information, because there were no facts concluding the opinion, that there was no plumbing in Tskaltubo or the water was contaminated. The council thought that the information about plumbing in Tskaltubo was unverified and was not based on facts. There was also no sign of attempts to verify the information. Therefore, the first principle (accuracy) was violated.

Neither the applicant nor the respondent attended the hearing.
